Super sons gay

Except, hmm, this seemed pretty unlikely to me. Superhero comics are still overwhelmingly straight, so the odds of DC revealing two major franchise characters as queer within the span of a few months are pretty steep — especially one who is currently wearing the mantle of Superman. So I did a bit of digging to figure out how this rumor got started.

Good news: it’s hilarious.

First, though, who is Jon Kent? Jon is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. He debuted in and is best known for costarring in the delightful all-ages Super Sons with Damian Wayne, son of Batman and current Robin. Due to convoluted plot shenanigans, Jon was abruptly aged up from 10 years vintage to 17 a couple years ago, something I arrange to harbor simmering resentment about for the rest of my natural life.

The super condensed version: Jonathan was born on the planet Telos during a cataclysm that threatened the entirety of the multiverse. Superman (and Lois) had been abducted by a crazed Vril Dox to fight other heroes Dox had kidnaped from other universes. The event was Convergence and on a practical level the comics published during the summer of were designed to give DC editorial time to shift company headquarters from Recent York City to Burbank. Convergence was also the means in which DC left behind much of Nu52 continuity in favor of starting a recent continuity branded as &#;Rebirth&#;. That&#;s me as well. I don&#;t care if either or both of them are gay, I look at their friendship and I just don&#;t see it being anything else. Like Booster and Beetle, they&#;re BFF&#;s and it&#;s too beautiful a dynamic to mess with. For what it&#;s worth I can see Jon creature attracted to the person and not the gender, and that&#;d include aliens of exotic biology too. Ever read Invincible? Consider Kid Omni-Man. Damian, I ponder, shouldn&#;t establish anything. He&#;s a messed up, half brainwashed thirteen year old child soldier who in some ways is far too mature and in others far too immature for his age. There&#;s a lot of growing up and healing Damian has to do before anyone should worry about his orientation, including him.

I can see Tim being bisexual but much more than that, I see him being sapiosexual (only attracted to highly intelligent people). Conner always read as straight to me, maybe "drunk bi-curious" at most.
