To receive instruction or counseling contact Brother William by email. There is never a fee for Ashram West services. Donations are gratefully accepted. The suggested donation for individual instruction and counseling is $$, and no one is ever turned away for inability to donate.

Three levels of membership

Anyone may become a student of Ashram West by seeking individual manual or by reading our books. Student Members may participate in all widespread activities of the Ashram and in those personal groups for which they qualify.
Supporter Members are students who support the labor of Ashram West either by volunteering at Ashram events or by making tax-deductible donations by subscription.
Those supporting members who decide to make a deeper commitment to spiritual life may request to become monks of Ashram West. A monk makes spiritual practice the center of his life. He may continue to exist anywhere he chooses, and he need not accept celibacy, but he will devote himself to daily practice and follow the monastic rule. His mo

Many men often tell me about their craving but also their fear of taking part in a collective Tantric experience. Over the last few months, more than ever, I've been reminded of the first Gay Tantric Retreat I attended. That's why, for this article, I've decided to narrate you how I experienced my very first Tantra Retreat.

First of all, you should grasp that I was far from the ideal candidate to receive part in a Gay Tantra Retreat.

In fact, I'm not a member of the community and I wasn't seeing any queer people at the time - apart from my life companions and my booty calls. To tell you the truth, I couldn't see myself spending four days in a group and, what's more, with gay people.

My spiritual journey was already very intense at the time, but tinged with a religiosity that demonised sexuality. I'd already heard about Tantra and I felt that this was where I had to go if I wanted to continue on my path, a
