Information for LGBTI refugees
The lesbian and lgbtq+ community in Stuttgart warmly welcomes all lesbian, gay, bi, transsexual and intersexual refugees. There are several NGOs in Stuttgart which aid LGBTI people and there are even some offers for LGBTI refugees. Unfortunately though, we are not able to offer special consultations for LGBTI refugees yet. We can, however, refer you to contacts and provide short-term assistance. Furthermore, our connections to the local authorities enable us to assist LGBTI people with regard to their extraordinary needs in the process of their recognition as refugees. We are also currently working on increasing the consciousness for the particular needs of LGBTI people in refugee facilities.

Rosa Note – our choir Since Rosa Note, Stuttgart’s gay men choir, has been captivating entertaining their German and European audiences with a refreshing mix of songs and cabaret. We present our programs with self-written, self-ironic lyrics and energetic choreographies. Our extensive repertoire consists of songs from various genres including rock, pop, jazz, chanson, musical, folklore and even classical music. We have developed our own special style on stage with we call choral cabaret. We have concerts and performances several times a year including festivals in Germany und Europe and the Stuttgart gay celebration parade. We’re also prepared to sing for special occasions, such as anniversaries, ceremonies, memorial services, birthdays or church services. Our promise to social issues is very important to us. Rosa Observe is one of the founding members ofWeissenburg e.V, the umbrella organization of all lgbt organizations in Stuttgart. Furthermore, we regularly perform at events relating to gay and lesbian politics or history, at church services or at events organized by the Stutt ColognePride e.V. was founded in under the name Kölner Lesben- und Schwulentag e.V. (KLuST) (Cologne Lesbian and Gay Day Association) and is not only the organiser of CSD Cologne and ColognePride, but is also active in local politics and nationally. At the moment, ColognePride e.V. has about members (as of April ), including private individuals, queer gastronomy businesses, companies and associations. Nine voluntary board members, a managing director and three advisory board members work all year spherical for our interests in Cologne. The soul of ColognePride are our political demands, which we focus on at ColognePride, but also at many queer political events and discussions outside of ColognePride.
