Gay Guide to Bars and Clubs in San Juan, Puerto Rico

LIST OF Homosexual BARS IN SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

We have the bars and clubs broken down by neighborhood areas, as there is not anyone &#;gayborhood&#; in San Juan.  We highly propose getting around to view the variety of bars and clubs.

CLOSEST TO COQUI DEL MAR gay hotel in San Juan Puerto Rico:

HATO REY:  This area has more local bars and tends to be a younger crowd.  Thursdays, aka, college night, is especially popular.  Amigos del Jangeo, El Cojo, Pal Frente and the newest, Meet Macarena, are all next door to eachother.

Amigos del angueo: Local queer bar on the strip of gay bars with dance area and pool table

Atrévete bar and cafe is more women/ queer woman focused, but welcomes all.  The owners frequently host local queer artists and musicians.

El Cojo: Local queer bar and small same-sex attracted dance club on the strip of local bars.

Meet Macarena:  The newest LGBTQ hot spot/ gay prevent, a hybrid bar with swimming pool, jazz nights and dancing.  And just across from El Cojo.

Pal Frente:   Local gay prevent on the strip of local bars.

Along Calle Loiza, I found the standard trappings of any American travel destination. But, this is Puerto Rico, so things were also a bit… diverse. In a fine way! Fast-food restaurants, a bar with salsa dancing, a street food market. Plenty of Puerto Rican resta

Gay Puerto Rico &#; the optimal gay hotels, bars, clubs &#; more

The crystal-clear waters, swaying palm trees, and pristine beaches of the Caribbean need little introduction. You already know they are sheer perfection! Puerto Rico is where you go to dip your toes into Caribbean waters, proverbial and otherwise. This gorgeous little island, just south of the southern tip of the U.S., is self-governing but technically a territory of the U.S., making it an easy trip from the States—the currency is dollars, and American travelers won't even need a visa.

Often referred to as the &#;Crossroad of the Caribbean,&#; it's also the pinkest of the Caribbean islands, with gay marriage having been legal there since , the highest LGBTQ+ population in the Caribbean, and a banging event festival every June. The whole island is a pleasure to explore, from beaches with bioluminescent waters to tropical rainforests, but the island's colorful capital, San Juan, is where you can really feel the beating Caribbean heart and fiery Latino spirit of Puerto Rico, all while indul ging in its unusual culture, exqu
